In 2012, we launched the first ever Bikeminded Cycle Shorts Competition, asking you to make films about cycling that would encourage your friends to take to two wheels. We were really impressed with the quality of films sent in and had a tough time selecting the finalists.

We handed these over to world renowned director, and Notting Hill local, Richard Loncraine, who chose his winner. And then we asked you to choose your favourite. Funnily enough, you agreed with Richard! We’re therefore pleased to announce that the winner of the Director’s Selection, and People’s Choice, is ‘Cycle of Life’. Congratulations to Gabriel Aldon and Ross Dolton on their winning film.
