A Christmas Carol on Bikes

Exquisite Folly Theatre and Bikeminded present a truly unique adaptation of Charles Dickens’ classic ‘A Christmas Carol’. Bring your bike (or hire a TFL Santander bike) and join that old ‘humbug’ Ebenezer Scrooge on an unforgettable winter’s tale across the borough and be a part of this interactive story with carols, puppetry, and the beautiful scenery of Kensington and Chelsea.

 

This is a show for families (11+) and anyone who has a bike or wants to borrow one and can ride approximately 6 miles. Expect to laugh and be surprised along the way. Face painting for members of the ghost-choir will begin at 2:30pm and the show will begin at 3pm,

 

Saturday 1 December
Arrival from 2:30pm for face painting.
Ride departs at 3pm – 5:30pm (approx).
The show begins at the Chelsea Theatre SW10 0DR
and finishes at the Design Museum W8 6AG.

 

Tickets are £10 (adult standard) or £3 (adult concession and chidlren) and are not refundable.

Age: You must be 11 years old or over to participate in this tour. Children must have their own bikes, be competent cyclists and be accompanied by an adult.

 

This show is commissioned by Bikeminded and supported by The Design Museum. It is based on Charles Dickens’ novel, adapted for bicycles by Amelia De-Felice.
