Bike Week 2017 takes place from 10 to 18 June. It is the UK’s biggest mass participation cycling event. It’s about promoting cycling as part of everyday life and getting the message across that cycling is for everyone. There is are whole range of activities  in the Royal Borough and across London. Check for events in London and the rest of the UK here.

Ride the Royal Borough – Cultural Highlights
Cycle ride – 10am to 12:30 pm
Starts: Kensington Gardens by Queen Victoria Statue

Dr Bike – 4pm to 7pm
Free bicycle check
Kensington Gardens, The Broad Walk /Mount Walk/ by small Drinking Fountain (opposite Kensington Palace) Kensington, (Nearest postcode) W8 4PU
No booking, just drop in

 

 

Wednesday 14 June
Exchanging Places – 4pm to 7pm
Take the opportunity to sit in a lorry cab and become aware of the blind spots
Dr Bike / Bicycle security marking / Smoothie bike
Exhibition Road, between the Natural History and the Science Museum
