Jolly Good Show

08/11/2012

And so our final themed cycle ride of the year is over (altogether now – aaah!). Just a few days ago on Halloween, we had a huge amount of fun with lots of other cyclists and the fabulous Exquisite Folly Theatre on our hugely popular wartime whodunnit Notting Hill Mystery cycle ride around some of the more atmospheric parts of the Royal Borough.

Everybody was given a name and a part to play in this mysterious adventure and as so many came in their 1940s finery, they also looked rather splendid indeed! And after we’d finished being cycling super sleuths, we all went to the rather spiffing Tabernacle for ‘tea & biscuits (aka a few well-earned beers and glasses of wine) in the knowledge that a good time had been had by all.

So what now? Although this may have been our last ride this year, we’re already looking forward to next year’s cycle rides and will be coming up with lots of ideas for themed rides over the coming months. And this is where you come in! Got any good ideas for future themed rides? If you have leave a comment on the blog below, leave a message on Twitter or Facebook or email us at cycling@rbkc.gov.uk
