All I want for Christmas is…

With the festive season fast approaching we thought we’d turn our thoughts to what we here at Bikeminded HQ want for Christmas, which might in turn help you work out what to get for your significant other.

Being chivalrous folk, we thought we’d give the ladies of the office the first turn…

In all truth I am on the hunt for a new bicycle and having picked up on the handmade frame trend sweeping the globe, I’d be happy for Santa to bring me one of these things of beauty from boutique bicycle brand Signal Cycles of Portland, Oregon…

A bit closer to home and easier to get my mitts on are Bobbin Bicycles, who make some fine looking machines.  My vote goes to the Bobbin Bramble.

Seeing as I’m in the process of tarting up the home, I need something new and shiny to show off my bicycle to visitors. This bicycle stand from Quaterre would do the trick thanks Santa.

As any London cyclist knows, if you invest in a beautiful bicycle then you’ll need a pretty tough lock.  This D lock from Knog not only looks good but achieves a gold standard too.

Seeing as it’s already dark at 4pm as I write this post, it’s highly likely I’ll be cycling home in the dark for a few months to come.  I know that Santa wants to keep me safe so I’d direct him to Cycle Chic to pick up one of these retro lights from Bobbin for me.

A stylish scarf like this one from Notting Hill boutique Couverture and the Garbstore would keep my neck warm and is bright enough to ensure I’m seen on the road.

And finally, to help keep my hands warm, I hope Santa would plump for a pair of these cashmere lined gloves by Aspinal of London.

Thanks Santa!
