Ah, the great British summer. What could be nicer than day after day of rain eh? So what kind of cyclist are you? Do you persevere through the rain or opt out on wet days? Even if it’s not raining when you set off, it’s best to have an umbrella with you here in the UK- and a sturdy one to cope with the winds, after all we do generally have to walk at some point. So how do you transport your’s?
We spotted a man in Hyde Park a few weeks ago who had his umbrella hanging off his handle bars at a diagonal… genius! This way it won’t get caught in your front wheel. We’ve tried it out and can vouch for this approach.
Or perhaps the Japanese method, which we found on the excellent Tokyo By Bike.
Or you can always just hold it
