Bikeminded Wants You …

There is one more weekend to go until our Cycle Shorts’ filmmaking competition deadline, which is 5pm on 25th June 2012! And we have one last message for you …

Your short film can be anything you want it to be: any genre, any style, and with as many or as few characters as you would like. All we ask you is to include a feature of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea in your film. This can be achieved by filmed footage or with the use of a photo which you own the rights to or have permission to use.

On our filmmaking blog, we have filmmaking tips: from how to build your own camera bicycle mount to how to edit your footage on YouTube editor, as well as filmmaking inspiration with a cycling theme of course.

Sadly, the weather hasn’t been on our side much over these last several weeks but if you can persevere with the elements for just this weekend, you will do both us and our cycling community proud. Plus, you could also win some fantastic exposure as a filmmaker as well as win a cash prize!

So, what are you waiting for? Pick up that camera or camera phone and switch it on. Lights, camera, action – it’s over to you!
