The deadline for the Cycle Shorts filmmaking competition has now been extended to 5pm on Monday 25th June 2012.
With the run of bad luck we’ve been having with the weather, we understand that some people haven’t had the chance to make the short films which they have been planning to. So with this little bit of extra time under your belts, we hope that you will all have the chance to do so.
As a reminder, the challenge is to create a 90-second film that is designed to convince someone you know to take up cycling. Or to put it in a more entertaining way …
Since producing this video, we have also had to make the tough decision of changing the venue for the screening of the shortlisted films – due to the unfortunate incident of a fire breaking out at the Electric Cinema last weekend.
The screening venue has now moved to Westbourne Studios and we look forward to hosting an evening of cycling films for the shortlisted filmmakers and their audience.

We wish everyone making their films the best of luck and let’s hope the weather holds out for two more weekends!
