Hurray! The sun is finally out and there are plenty more bicycles on the road. Isn’t it about time that we were allowed to enjoy our so-called British Summer Time?
And now that the clouds have dispersed and paved a way for the sunshine, we are thinking that perhaps more folks might be interested in our Cycle Shorts filmmaking competition. What do you think?
Make a 90-second short film on cycling for the chance of a film screening at The Electric Cinema as one of the finalists, as well as receive a cash prize as one of two winners and have your film shown at two further screenings as the final winner. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
If this sounds interesting to you, have a watch of our video to find out more about the competition.
And if you are thinking that you might not know the area too well, you can always join our cycle film tour on Saturday. The cycle tour will last a couple of hours and cover locations that have featured in movies such A Clockwork Orange, Golden Eye, Eastern Promises, Withnail & I, to name a few.
If you are interested in joining the tour, click here for more information. It’s going to be a beautiful day and what better excuse to take your camera along for the ride!
