Cycle Shorts: Cannes Film Festival

30/04/2012

Sundance London may be sadly over but the filmmaking community now have the Cannes Film Festival to look forward to in a couple of weeks – and so do we. This is when we find out which films we should be looking forward to and this is when the glamour of movies reaches its peak in Europe.

The Cannes Film Festival will be celebrating its 65th anniversary and last year, The Kid With A Bike won the Grand Jury Prize. And we cannot wait to see which films will be contending for this year’s prestigious prize. Have you seen it yet?

Locally, we also can’t wait for the Exhibition Road Olympics Festival which will be screening the winner of our Cycle Shorts filmmaking competition, as well as providing the street crowds with other wonderful sights and sounds.

The competition winner will also be able to watch their film being screened at The Portobello Film Festival as well as at a private screening at The Electric Cinema along with the other nine finalists.

Do let us know, are you planning to enter?
