Parisian Cycle Style

02/03/2012

As Paris Fashion Week draws to a close, and therefore the final in our series on cycle style in the fashion capitals, we join our friends at Paris Cycle Chic to find out why Parisian cyclists always look so damn good!

“As it’s now fashion week here in Paris, it is a good time for Paris Cycle Chic to celebrate our Parisian cyclists. Cycling in Paris is great and it is the most efficient transportation system in terms of commute time, personal health and improving our environment. First of all, Parisians don’t change their dress code because of cycling, just dress as you want, as you are.  Dress like you do not have to cycle, wearing for example suits and leather jackets for men, skirts, high heels and jeans for women….

Here below a series of photos demonstrating the French way of cycling in Paris and our way of living in this fantastic city.

Going to work through the Louvre Museum garden…

Going to an evening dinner in “tenue de soirée”, parking along the river…

Going to work in a white skirt and light blue shirt, very french, very chic…

Going to work, wearing a suit on a vintage bike rue de Rivoli…

Wearing leather jacket and two bags, listening music on a racing vintage bike…

After work meeting for a drink downtown…

Jeans are always good looking… especially on a “green” bike like this one, made of wood…

Back from shopping whatever the weather is, shopping is great in Paris…”

Thanks Benoit, your cyclists are incredibly chic!
